Tony Krocak, Milwaukee
In December 2008 at the pro qualifier held in Milwaukee, Tony defeated the previous year's champion to qualify for the Dallas pro tour stop in February. Tony has beat several players in singles who were or are ranked in the world pro rankings. He has been ranked. He also has four national doubles titles in the 35 open. The teams he and Mike Panko have defeated include many world ranked players. Not surprisingly, he and Mike are excellent athletes including scratch golfers. Tony has served as a PGA assistant pro and currently is director of admissions for a local university.
Mike Panko, Madison
Wisconsin is fortunate to have Mike as a member of our sport. He is involved with the beautiful new 3 wall and 1 wall courts in Madison which are affiliated with the Madison East youth center. He has 9 national titles and was eligible to play in the national 40 open last year. He won the national 40 open singles title in April 2008, in Houston, TX. Prior to his latest national title and his first in singles, he teamed with Brian Neveau and Tony Krocak equally to win his eight 35 open national doubles titles. His next national title makes him a Grandmaster of handball.
